Biography
Jacob Wurzer brings a passion for business, engineering, and film, and has collaborated with Alex Garcia Topete on projects for years — including as executive producer of Vamps, Blood & Smoking Guns (2012). A UT Dallas graduate in both business and electrical engineering, he founded the student network UTD TV (utdtv.com) and today works as an engineer in the oil industry alongside his film work.
As founder and president of UTD TV (May 2008 – May 2011), he built the network at the University of Texas at Dallas from a small deposit from the Alumni fund into the youngest form of student media on campus, distributed online.
